I would like to extend a warm welcome to existing and potential new or returning members to Pewsey Tennis Club and trust you will all have an enjoyable tennis season.  Our club remains one of the best in Wiltshire with superb facilities.

Your club is in good shape financially but we will spend £45000 over the next two years with four courts being re-surfaced.

Tennis Club Works Update  - Courts 1&2 re-surfacing completed and everyone seems to be enjoying the new surface.  It is planned that the yew trees alongside these courts will be trimmed by Simon Ellis on behalf of the Parish Council (our landlords) and this will include clearing branches from around the corner floodlight. The back corners of the hitting wall should be repointed this month and the clubhouse front guttering is awaiting inspection and best solution.

2014 has been a busy year in ensuring our club's facilities remain top notch and we are confident that the investment will be very much appreciated by our members, coaching groups, cardio-tennis participants and school groups.

Many thanks for your patience.

Colin Gratton,  Chairman

Paul Coxon & Mike Hutchinson as they finish their 500 mile walk along the length of the Camino de Santiago.  They were raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care & Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Paul commented " It was tough but worthwhile. Met lots of great people, the scenery was beautiful and the feeling of walking into Santiago was one of huge satisfaction. Thank you once again for the donations. As the Proclaimers sing ....... I can walk 500 miles........"
